Johnson’s Daily Essentials: My overall impression

This is a pretty decent range. Johnson’s is synonymous with babies and baby skin care, so no doubt that they would create an adult range that could cater to the varying needs of our skins.

When using all the products, they left me feeling very feminine in a way that that women in the 50’s might have felt when approaching skin care and beauty. I think a lot of it has to do with the branding and fragrance of the products. The complimentary baby pink and mint green are a psychological and emotional throwback to a bygone era and it’s done in a clean, modern way. There’s nothing kitsch about these products or the packaging. There’s something indulgent but budget conscious in the use of these products and that’s definitely a win.

The products look pretty and understated and are definitely products that you can keep in view and admire in a way that you could admire a piece of vintage jewellery that’s been revamped for a modern age.

I would use these products again but I do wish there was an eye cream in the range as well. I’ve been using my usual Himalaya eye cream and it works well enough with the Johnson’s brand, so it’s all good for now. The range is very basic so no real specific treatments within it for different skin conditions but anyhow…
